McBride signs with Alcorn State

- Colquitt County’s RaJayla McBride has signed to continue her softball career at Alcorn State in Mississippi. The speedy outfielder was one of 80 senior players selected for the 2024 Georgia Dugout Club’s All-State games and hit a home run and stole a base at Truist Park. She also was named to the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association’s Class 6A All-State second team after hitting .419 as the Lady Packers leadoff hitter. She was 43-45 in stolen base attempts for the Lady Packers in 2024.
