MOULTRIE — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department’s Midget League for baseball players 11- and 12-years old will begin play on Monday.

Mobley Plant and Davis Insurance will square off in the season-opener at 6 p.m. Quality Employment will face Southwest Georgia Bank at 7:30 p.m.

League play will continue through June 2.

The league includes:

Ameris, coached by Allen Dalton. His players include Taylor Bachelor, Caleb Brown, Christian Cardin, Tyler Clay, Matthew Gerald, Zackery Mims, Taylor Newsome, Artrievous Palmore, Devin Smith, Keldrick Weaver, Matthew Deal and Steven Miller.

Edwards Motors, coached by Todd Presley. The roster includes Austin Bass, Nicholas Crawley, Jim Harrison, Cody Parker, Colby Presley, Tyler Shaw, Brett Smith, Dillon Presley, Drew Wisenbaker, Mitchell Hawes, Michael Schwarz, Benjamin Hegwood and Drew Marchant.

Southwest Georgia Bank, coached by Robby Pitts. The players are Dillon Frazier, Austin Gumm, Jacob Hancock, Coleman Neal, Austin Vines, Tyler Yost, Landon Rehberg, Vann Pitts, Tanner Strickland, Matthew Creech, Tyroni Walker and Blake White.

Davis Insurance, coached by Dewayne McAlpin. The roster includes Dylan Allegood, Daren Kent, Alex Kimbrell, Dustin McAlpin, Nick Newton, Tyler Reynolds, Denerick Simpson, Brandon Wool, Justin Dupree, Brad Carroll, Alex Littleton and Paul Leonard.
