LETTER TO THE EDITOR: A way to show veterans you care

I saw recently on TV news that suicide is almost common among veterans and active service members. It is not hard to understand that warfare can cause human beings mental health problems. The things people do — like neat cemeteries, monuments, holidays, speeches and tributes — these are mostly to benefit the living, not the dead.

If people care, really care, demand that the VA be funded to adequately address the needs of veterans.
