The Moultrie Observer will be closed Wednesday due to Hurricane Michael.

Wednesday’s newspaper has been sent to press and will be delivered by our carriers as it is safe to do so.

Reporters will continue to work to post updates online through the storm and its aftermath.

We intend to reopen Thursday, but the exact timing will depend on the results of the storm.
