Cinema for a Cause benefits United Way, food bank

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Georgia Theatre Company held its 14th annual Cinema for a Cause event Dec. 3 at its 24 locations throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and Virginia. On that day, proceeds from all admission tickets and concession purchases were donated to local charity groups chosen by each theater’s staff.
This year’s event raised $174,587 for 34 charities.
