Guests enjoyed a variety of soups and dessert at the Colquitt County Arts Center on Tuesday for the Empty Bowls Fundraiser, sponsored by Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Guests enjoyed a variety of soups and dessert at the Colquitt County Arts Center on Tuesday for the Empty Bowls Fundraiser, sponsored by Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Each person purchased one of 180 bowls painted by people in the community to hold their soup, with proceeds benefiting the Colquitt County Food Bank.

About 45 bowls remain and are available to purchase for $10 each. Please call the Arts Center at (229) 985-1922 or visit between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at 401 Seventh Ave. S.W. for more information and to purchase bowls.
