MOULTRIE, Ga. — Two drivers and a passenger in one of the cars suffered apparently minor injuries in a rear-end collision on Monday in Norman Park, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Brittney Hryzan, 26, of Tifton, was driving south in a 2003 Nissan behind a 2003 Cadillac Escalade driven by Ruben Briones Perez, 37, of Ashburn, agency reports said.
Hryzan was following too closely, the GSP said, and this caused her to run into the rear of the Escalade.
Hryzan, Perez and a passenger in the Escalade were treated at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
A hospital spokeswoman said that Hryzan and Briones both were treated and released. The name of the passenger was not immediately available.
The trooper who investigated the accident issued a citation to Hryzan on a charge of following too closely.
