Rec basketball to start Jan. 4

MOULTRIE — The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Department’s youth basketball program will begin on Monday, Jan. 4.

The first day’s action will include the Bulldogs playing the Tar Heels in the 7-9 league and the Heat facing the Cavaliers in the 10-12 league.

The Bulldogs, coached by Bobby Merritt, include Trenton Allen, Day’Shawn Brown, Bo DeMott, Jalyn Pace, Marcus Richardson, Keyontae Simpson, Nimarius Stafford, Zimarius Stafford, Melvin Toombs and Malik Walker.

Clark Harden’s Tar Heels include Matthew Bryant, Markeverin Graham, Cason Harden, Sam Harden, Zy’lon Hawkins, Ladarius McKinney, Gabe Robinson, Ty’Quavian Scott and Jamaree Singletary.

Playing for the Blue Devils in the 7-9 league are Mylann Bussie, Makel Gaines, Tavorian King, Ra’Quavian Kinsey, Akebrin McNeal, Zachariah Palmore, Zachariah Ryles, Tylen Smith and NaKyree Wallace.

Playing for the Heat in the 10-12 league are Trevelle Anderson, Orion Blackwell, Jah’Boris Fuller, Nathan Harden, Ty’Li Lewis, DeMarco McNeal, Cadarius Neal and Camron Neal.

The Lakers include Avari Blackwell, Letherrio Edwards, Montana Edwards, Mikey Johnson, Derrick Madison, Jumeir Pridgen and Jaden Singletary.

Playing for the Warriors are I’marius Bussie, Lakeem Harper, Angel Johnson, Carolton Moore, Seth Ross, Calvin Washington, Dijmon Wheeler and Yasheed Wheeler.

The Hawks include Amari Davis, Neko Fann, Pershaun Fann, Dextra Polite, Kenyan Solomon, Kamarian Williams, Markese Wilson and Cedric Wynn.

The Tim Sanders-coached Cavaliers include Tylan Brice, Malik Gaines, Dantrelle Harvey, Kan’Yae Herring, Chris Knox, Tajh Sanders, Antonio Stafford and Za’Mari Williams.
