MOULTRIE — Kathryn McRae Hargraves, 85, of 20 Lower Meigs Road, died

Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Westview

Cemetery.

Mrs. Hargraves was born Nov. 26, 1918, in Colquitt County to William

Rhodrick McRae and Varilla Beatrice Brown McRae, both of whom are

deceased. She was a bookkeeper and a Presbyterian.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,

Wesley Norell “Mug” Hargraves.

Survivors include one son, William M. Lockwood; two stepsons, Anson

Hargraves and Rita of Columbus and Bryan Hargraves and Trudie of Easton,

Pa.; one sister, Mary Helen Sims; grandchildren, Rod, Lee, David, Kristi

and Allen Hargraves; six great-grandchildren; and a longtime friend and

caretaker, James Tolverd. Also surviving are Mike Englese and Jim

Englese, both of Easton, Pa., Gail Sims Hartley of Atlanta and Mike Gahm

of Augusta.

The body will lie in state at the family residence, 20 Lower Meigs Road,

from noon today until one hour before the service. The family may be

contacted at the family residence.

Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Thelma Louise Morris Baron

HARTSFIELD — Thelma Louise Morris Baron, 90, of 1230 Riggs Store Road,

Hartsfield, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical

Center.

Funeral services will be at Cobb Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. today, Jan. 18,

with burial at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Elder C.A. Blanton and

the Rev. Gary Morris will officiate. Casketbearers will be Chris Baron,

Andy Baron, Cecil Dorsey, Ronald Strickland, Guerry Baron and Dale

Morris. Honorary casketbearers will be Randall Carroll, Andy Carroll,

Larry Bryan and David Lee Bryan.

Mrs. Baron was born Sept. 9, 1913, in Colquitt County to the late Hattie

Sellers Morris and the late Billy Scott Morris. She was a homemaker and

a member of Bridge Creek Primitive Baptist Church, where she was a

member of the senior citizens group.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,

Junius A. Baron.

Survivors include her sons, Billy J. Baron and wife Arlene of Eatonton

and Randy V. Baron and wife Janie of Franklin; brothers, Johnny Gibson

Morris of Moultrie, James Arnold Morris of Hinsonton, Carzell Morris of

East Point and Eutis Morris of Senoia; one sister, Betty Jean Pope of

Moultrie; two grandchildren, Andy Baron and Chris Baron; four

great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Josh, Courtney and Andrew.

The family may be contacted at the family residence, 1230 Riggs Store

Road, Hartsfield.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.



Diego Perez Lopez

MOULTRIE — Diego Perez Lopez, 34, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2004, at 708

Overlook Drive.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at Luke Strong

and Son Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. John Boatwright officiating.

Burial will be in St. James Pallbearers Cemetery No. 2. Pallbearers will

be the staff of Beadles Lumber Company.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lopez, and one daughter, Leann

Pacheco, both of Tifton.

Luke Strong and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
