Shirley Ann Bowen

WARNER ROBINS — Shirley Ann Bowen, 64, formerly of Moultrie died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, in Warner Robins.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Funston City Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.

Born June 11, 1939, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Bowen was the daughter of the late Allen Arrington and Debra Collins Arrington. She was a retired cosmetologist and an antique dealer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lee Bowen.

Survivors include two sons, Frank Patterson and wife Tina of Houston, Texas, and Mike Patterson and wife Kay of Quitman; a daughter, Dana Demott of Warner Robins; two brothers, Leonard Arrington and wife Clara of Quitman and Quinton Arrington and wife Betty of Tennessee; and five grandchildren, Kelly Patterson and Will Patterson, both of Houston, Texas, Niki Patterson of Quitman, Stephanie Demott of Warner Robins, and Anna Marie Hunley and husband Billy of Warner Robins.

Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.



Earnest Bishop

CHAMBERBURG, Pa. — Earnest Bishop, 52, formerly of Moultrie, died Jan. 28, 2004 at Chamberburg, Pa.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Luke Strong and Son Mortuary.



Margie Elaine Strickland

HARTSFIELD — Margie Elaine Strickland, 58, of Hartsfield died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul Wisham officiating. Burial will be in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Andy Strickland, Timmy Strickland, Justin Strickland, Keith Strickland, Terry Carlton and Richard Strickland.

Born Dec. 12, 1945, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Strickland was the daughter of Alma Thompson Strickland and the late Andrew Franklin Strickland. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Alma Thompson Strickland of Hartsfield; a brother, Jimmie K. Strickland and wife Peggy of Albany; two sisters, Sara Carlton of Live Oak, Fla., and Freida Carr and husband Jim of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
