Forty-five volunteers help make the days brighter for residents of Legacy Village at Park Regency.

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Legacy Village at Park Regency, a premier senior living community serving the Colquitt County area, held a day of celebration to recognize the 45 volunteers who donate their time, efforts, and talents to their residents every week.

This celebration included a presentation that recognized each individual volunteer with a personal thank you and a special gift. Many of the volunteers are members from hospice organizations, church groups, family members, and residents of Legacy Village at Park Regency.

“We wanted to let them know how much we appreciate the time they give to serve our residents. Our volunteers share their talents with us every week by singing, playing musical instruments, calling BINGO, and sharing devotions” Lisa Bynum, Legacy Village at Park Regency’s life enrichment coordinator, said.

“I have loved volunteering at Legacy Village over the past year. At first, I was hoping to come and brighten the day of the residents through crafting. However, every time I come, they brighten my day. This is the sweetest place and I just love each one of the residents,” Karesha Shiver, Legacy Village at Park Regency volunteer, said.

“We are always so thankful and appreciative of our volunteers! The time and heart they give to serve our residents is something that we wanted to take the time to recognize,” Jamey Rickard, executive director of Legacy Village at Park Regency, said.
