MOULTRIE — Margaret Ethell Hancock, 89, of Camilla died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Tom Newman and Rev. Robert Lewis will officiate.

Active pallbearers will include Will McGuire, Matt Ethridge, Trey Ragan, Geoff Gonzalez, Kenny Allegood, Vince Hancock, Brady Ragan, and Leonard Hancock.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Friendship Sunday School Class of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Born Dec. 30, 1925, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Hancock was the daughter of the late Lawson A. Allegood and Rhoda Francis Tucker Allegood. She was married to the late James Robert Hancock, Jr. Mrs. Hancock was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and worked in sales.

Mrs. Hancock had also retired from Mitchell Baker Service Center.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark McGuire, a great grandson, Jonathan Latham, and a great granddaughter, Alana Lee Craton.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Ethridge & husband, Gary, of Doerun and Charlotte Uselding of Camilla;  two sons, Travis Hancock of Baconton and Randal Hancock & wife, Sandi, of Leesburg;  two brothers, Buck Allegood of Leesburg and Alden Allegood of Moultrie;  a sister, Willene Pinney of Albany;  22 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren;  and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, Oct 30, at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
