Pastor’s anniversary

Macedonia Baptist Church will celebrate the sixth anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. and Sister Ellis Gudes, this week.

True Revelations Baptist Church of Poulan and its pastor, the Rev. Willie Jenkins of Albany, will be in charge of the service at 7 p.m. Thursday. St. James Freewill Baptist Church and the Rev. Pernell Adams will be in charge at 7 p.m. Friday. White Rock Baptist Church of Moultrie and Bishop Skipper of Atlanta will be in charge of the service at 3 p.m. Sunday.

State conference

ATLANTA — The 2020 Georgia Bar, Media and Judiciary Conference will be held 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at the State Bar of Georgia Conference Center, 104 Marietta St. N.W., in Atlanta.
