CCHS choir concert Tuesday

MOULTRIE, Ga. — The Colquitt County High School choirs will perform their Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Withers Auditorium.

Featured will be the Camerata Choir, the Women’s Chorale, the Senior Men’s Ensemble, the Serenaders and the A Cappella Choir.

The concert will begin with a population piece — which means every choir member at CCHS will sing it together, director Travis Kern said. CCHS has 180 choir students this year.

The A Cappella Choir will perform the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

“There is something for everyone at this concert,” Kern said. “From serious beautiful music to downright slapstick humor. You will leave this concert feeling that Christmas is on the way.”
