MOULTRIE, Ga. — Sunset Elementary School recently announced the Students of the Month for September. These students were chosen by their teachers as part of the school’s character education program led by counselor Patience Hicks.

Each month, a word is chosen as the Character Education Word of the Month and a special celebration for the students chosen is given. The word for the month of September was Responsibility. Responsibility means making decisions, being trusted, and learning to take credit for one’s actions — whether good or bad.
