Dean’s List

AMERICUS, Ga. — Evelyn Marchant, a resident of Hartsfield, made the Summer 2019 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 400 students recognized for scholastic achievement.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Academic Achievement List

AMERICUS, Ga. — The following local residents made the Summer 2019 Academic Achievement List at Georgia Southwestern State University and were among 400 students recognized for scholastic achievement. To be eligible for the Academic Achievement List, a student must previously earn at least 12 credit hours at GSW, be enrolled in 3 to 11 hours of courses, and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA.

Recognized were Gloria Beard of Moultrie, Mary Beard of Moultrie, Callie Buckner of Moultrie, Daniel Contreras-Gallardo of Moultrie, Christian Crosby of Moultrie, Jasmine Folsom of Moultrie, Christopher Jacobs of Moultrie, Jamie Morgan of Moultrie, Nova Renteria of Omega and Kathryn Wynn of Moultrie.

President’s List

STATESBORO, Ga. — Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 1,850 students for excellence in academics on the Spring 2019 President’s List. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Students include Christopher Blanton of Moultrie, Delaysha Edwards of Moultrie, Nea McLemore of Moultrie, Tracer Parrish of Pavo, Anna Sutton of Norman Park and Hannah Walden of Moultrie.

STATESBORO, Ga. — Georgia Southern University recently recognized approximately 3,300 students for excellence in academics on the Spring 2019 Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Students include Morgan Croft, Melinda Hurst, Chloe Jennings of Moultrie, Reagan Kelshaw of Moultrie and Brianna Newton, all of Moultrie.

Dean’s List

WALESKA, Ga. — Brittany Marshall of Moultrie was recently named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List at Reinhardt University.  

The Dean’s List is compiled at the end of each semester to recognize undergraduate students who have completed at least 12 hours during the semester with a 3.5-3.99 grade point average, with no grade less than a B.
