Two men charged in Norman Park assault

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Police have arrested two men in connection with a reported assault near Norman Park.
Arturo Hernandez-Antonio reported that he was attacked at about 11 p.m. on Oct. 27 in the 200 block of Las Vegas Lane.
He told police he had walked to a store near his residence to get a beer when he tried to shake an acquaintance’s hand and the acquaintance pushed him before walking out.
When Hernandez-Antonio later left the store, he told police, the man with whom he had the confrontation and his cousin approached him. One of the men pushed him down and held him with his knee while the other punched him in the head.
Police charged Oswaldo Trejo-Martinez, 21, 251 Las Vegas Lane, Norman Park with battery and Francisco Angeles-Trejo, 20, of the same address, with simple battery.

• Nicholas James O’Conner, 23, 116 Evergreen Drive, Luthersville, Ga., was charged Oct. 26 with theft by receiving stolen property and forgery.
• Timothy Harrald, 41, Orlando, Fla., was charged Oct. 26 with driving under the influence and failure to drive within single lane.
• Hayden Lee Gandy, 19, 610 Merritt Road, Hartsfield, was charged Oct. 27 with financial transaction card fraud.

• Kaylon Jane Adkison, 27, 1192 Fourth St. S.W., was charged Friday with driving while license withdrawn.
• Kelli Myers McMurphy, 866 R.L. Norman Road, was charged Monday with obstruction of a police officer and public drunkenness.
• James Ray McMurphy, 40, 866 R.L. Norman Road, Norman Park, was charged Oct. 26 with two counts felony obstruction of a police officer and public drunkenness.
• Matthew Carroll Craven, 31, 7054 Old Adel Road, was charged Monday with battery.
• Jennifer Carol Landrum, 37, 212 Minix Road, was charged Oct. 26 with giving false information or false name to police, terroristic threats and acts, disorderly conduct, simple battery, duty to obey officer and obstruction of police officer.

• Maury Jackson, 800 block U.S. Highway 319 South, reported Monday the theft of a GMC Envoy and Nissan Altima with a total value of $650 from the 1800 block of Highway 133 South.
• Bonnie La Cour, 1400 block Fifth Street Southeast, reported Oct. 28 the theft of a Pioneer amplifier-receiver stereo and 50 compact discs with a total value of $800.
