MOULTRIE, Ga. — A man’s Tuesday morning stop for take-out chicken was not warmly welcomed by the owner of the truck from which the food was stolen.
Noah Sangster reported seeing a man reach through the passenger side window of his truck and grab a piece of fried chicken. The theft occurred at about 10:41 a.m. outside Sangster’s residence in the 100 block of Cook Road.
When Sangster confronted the male he walked away with Sangster following, Sangster told police. A neighbor recognized the chicken bandit, but was not sure of his name.
Sangster described the man as being white or Hispanic, between the ages of 18 and 20, wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap.
The chicken was valued at $3.
In another reported incident involving a county resident’s car, Jerome Pope told police that someone poured sugar in the tanks of his 2001 Dodge Stratus and GMC Sonoma pickup truck.
