Recreation Authority

The Moultrie-Colquitt County Parks and Recreation Authority will hold two meetings this week.

The Documents Committee will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Parks and Recreation office, 1020 Fourth St. S.W., to discuss development of bylaws, tax ID forms, attorney representation and formulation of other necessary documents.

The whole authority will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at Ryce Community Center on Seventh Street Northwest.

Georgia Pines

The Georgia Pines Community Service Board for area mental health, developmental disabilities and addictive diseases services will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at the Georgia Pines Administrative Office’s Multipurpose Conference Room, 1102 Smith Ave. in Thomasville.
