Lillar Shepheard honored for “Dare to Be a Daniel”

Lillar Shepheard of Moultrie received the Educational Enrichment Community Service Award at the public meeting of the 64th South Atlantic Regional Confrence of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority March 24 in Atlanta.

She was nominated by Lambda Xi Omega Chapter (Geneva Scott-King, president, and Juanita Jackson, awards chairman).

Shepheard, 91, was honored for nearly a decade of work with the Dare to Be a Daniel Ministry in Colquitt County.

She is the wife of the late Rev. Clifford Shepheard.
