PAVO – Clinton Wayne Cooper, 74, of Pavo died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Pruitt Healthcare-Palmyra.
Graveside rites will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Lebanon Cemetery in Pavo with the Rev. Mollie Danner officiating.
Born April 18, 1941, in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Zera Fondren Cooper and Nellie Mae Dodson Cooper. Mr. Cooper was a lifelong resident of Pavo and member of Pavo United Methodist Church. He was an entrepreneur and former owner of The Burger Shack in Pavo.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Melba Norman, and his brother, Albert Randall Cooper.
Survivors include his niece, Brenda McMillan and Rick of Leesburg, Ga.; nephews Mike Norman and Donna of Fitzgerald, Ga., Chris Norman and Anne of Albany, Ga., and Don Norman of Albany, Ga.; and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
