Joshua James Hamilton

DOERUN — Joshua James Hamilton, 33, of Doerun, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Randy Jackson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Brent Calloway, Chad Lasseter, Jesse Norman, Haylen Giles, David Weakland, Ricky Yates, Brad Allen and Sky Bayya.

Born Nov. 2, 1982, in Moultrie he was a maintenance mechanic with Sanderson Farms and was of the Christian faith.  His family remembers how he loved to fish, spending time with his family and loved all kinds of music.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Allison Hamilton of Doerun; two children, Henley Hamilton and Cash Hamilton, both of Doerun; mother, Mary JoLeen Tanner of Moultrie; three brothers, Duain Lasseter and Charlie Hamilton, both of Moultrie, and Roger Lott of Doerun; a sister, Amy Giles of Doerun; and other family members.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL. 33607.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
