Mr. and Mrs. Iverson Powell celebrate 70 years

- Iverson and Marjorie Powell, of Doerun, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married on Aug. 27, 1945. Mr. and Mrs. Powell have four children, eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. They are lifelong residents of Colquitt County.
