ROCHELLE, Ga. — J.T. Hall, age 81, of Rochelle, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, in the First Baptist Church of Rochelle. Visitation was two hours before the service from 2-4 p.m. in the church. Jason Holt, Berry Collier and the Rev. Phil West will officiated. Interment was in the family plot in the Morningside Cemetery.

Mr. Hall was born on Oct. 24, 1933, in Norman Park, Ga. He was son of the late Mervin Franklin Hall and Zemmie West Hall. He was retired safety director of Martin Transport in Rochelle. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rochelle where he served as emeritus deacon and Sunday School teacher. He was emeritus member of the Board of Directors of the Colony Bank.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara T. Hall of Rochelle; son, Tim Hall of Rochelle; daughter, Susan (Bobby) Bragg of Rochelle; sisters, Dorothy Rogers and Gail (Cyrus) Leavens of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Joe) Bostic of Rochelle, Jason (Abby) Holt of Fitzgerald, Anna (Keith) Harper of Rebecca, Matthew Hall of Rebecca, and Sara Hall of Rebecca; their mother, Louise H. Reeves of Rebecca; and his great-grandchildren, Osjha, Breeleigh, Juliana, Samule and Evie Catherine Bostic of Rochelle, Thomas, Davis and Maddox Holt of Fitzgerald, and Deacon and Josie Harper of Rebecca.

Pallbearers were Tim Moore, Wayne McGuinty, Royal Brown, John McDonald, Tommy McDonald and Harold Plemons.

Music was provided by Jan Brown, Norma Jean Wilkerson and Nelson Gaines assisted by Freddy Brown.

The family request that donations be made to the Reflections Hospice, 202 East 4th Avenue, Cordele, Ga. 31015.

Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle was in charge of arrangements.
