COOLIDGE — Betty Sue Willis Smith, 70, of Coolidge, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Dee officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Randy Bozeman, Ray Bozeman, Donnie Bryant, Ricky Smith, David Taylor and Cameron Boyd.
Born Jan. 2, 1944, in Pavo, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Joshua Willis and Mary Thelma Gibbs Willis. She was a retired child care provider with Wonderland Nursery and she attended Christian Crusade Church.
She was preceded in death by her five brothers, Charles Willis, Lloyd Willis, Donald Willis, Curtis Willis and Johnny Bruce Willis.
Survivors include five children, Carol Gay and husband Dean of Moultrie, Jimmy Darrell Smith and wife Georgia of Moultrie, Jeffery Dean Smith and wife Heather of Coolidge, Diane Griffin of Moultrie, and Becky Bozeman and husband Randy of Funston; one brother, Howard Willis of Doerun; two sisters, Donna “Dean” Warner of Moultrie and Mary Jo Cannon of Moultrie; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Sunday at Cobb Funeral Chapel.
