After 45 successful years in the health care industry, UHS-Pruitt Corporation has changed its name to PruittHealth, and as part of the change, the three health care facilities the company operates in Moultrie are changing their names too.

Heritage Healthcare at Sunrise will now be known as PruittHealth – Sunrise; UniHealth Magnolia Manor South will be known as PruittHealth – Magnolia Manor; and UniHealth Post-Acute Care – Moultrie will be known as PruittHealth – Moultrie.

While the name may have changed, the quality of care and services has not, said a press release from PruittHealth. The community can expect the same quality services and commitment to caring that the facilities have always provided, company officials said.

“We recognized that, as we have grown over the years and added more and more services, it became increasingly difficult to communicate to our customers that we offer an integrated model of health care and support services,” said Neil L. Pruitt Jr., chairman and C.E.O. of PruittHealth. “With this rebranding, we hope to eliminate confusion and strengthen our synergy. By streamlining the names of our service lines and offering a clearer picture of what we do, we are strengthening our identity. We’ve always stood for quality, and we always will. The PruittHealth brand will help us to amplify that, and clearly articulate our comprehensive model of care to our customers and referral sources.”

This rebranding campaign is visible in communities throughout the Southeast, and along with a new name, PruittHealth has a new logo and website to better represent the organization’s model of care and spectrum of health care services.

The PruittHealth family includes hundreds of locations and touches the lives of more than 24,000 patients each day throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
