AgGeorgia names Peters regional lending manager

AgGeorgia Farm Credit recently announced the promotion of John C. Peters Jr. to regional lending manager.

Peters joined the Quitman branch as a   loan officer in January 2006 and became branch manager of the Moultrie Branch in 2009. In these positions, he was instrumental in growing and maintaining the customer base of the branches.

Peters will now oversee six offices in the southernmost region of AgGeorgia’s territory.

Peters received his diploma from Colquitt County High School before graduating in December 2005 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree, majoring in Agribusiness. He and his wife, Rebecca Hurst Peters, formerly of Barney, currently reside in Moultrie.

Peters and his staff serve the credit needs of rural Georgia in Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Colquitt, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift, Turner, and Worth counties, with branch locations in Moultrie, Nashville, Ocilla, Quitman, Sylvester, and Tifton.
