Jack Douglas “Coach” Rice, age 56 of Monroe, Ga., died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011.
Mr. Rice was a member of The Masters Car Club, The Gold Wing Riders Association and The Providence Club Golf Association. He attended The Christ Church in Loganville, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon J. Rice of Monroe; children, Kyle Boe Rice of Rochester Hills, Mich., Dolly and Matt McClendon and daughter, Maggie Mae McClendon of Oxford, Miss., and Joshua Davis of Missoula, Mont.; parents, Louis and Norma LeTourneau of Linden, Mich.; brothers, Carl Rice of Moultrie, Ga., and Keith Rice of Linden, Mich.; sisters, Sherry Covyeau of St. Clair Shores, Mich., Patsy Sanders of Linden, Mich., and Carol Slusher of Goose Creek, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 5 p.m. at The Christ Church, 3977 Atlanta Highway, Loganville, GA 30052 with Pastor Troy Shaw and Pastor Don Richards officiating.
