June Aderhold Maule

MOULTRIE — June Aderhold Maule, 92, of Moultrie, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009, at Woodlands Living Center.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Lifespring Community Church with the Rev. Julian Griner officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens with Bobby Brock, Bobby Gay, Brian Van Wagner, Bruce Harlow, L.P. Mills, Mack McCoy and Mark Holmes serving as pallbearers.

Born Feb. 1, 1917, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Aderhold and Elmira Aderhold. She was the president of Maule Aircraft and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Belford David Maule; a son, Gary Dean Maule; a daughter, Janet Elaine Dowell; a grandson, Scott Hanley; two brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her sons, Raymond Kenneth Maule and wife Rautgunde of Moultrie and David Lee Maule and wife Barbara of Moultrie; a daughter, Shirley May Maule of Moultrie; grandchildren, Gretchen Reed of Michigan, Susan Maule of Pennsylvania, Laura Pitts of Moultrie, Charles Dermyre of Moultrie, Susan Mundie of Michigan, Michelle Wilkes and Kit of Moultrie, Brent Maule of Moultrie and Miranda Williams and husband Andrew and Leslie Allman all of Moultrie; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Lifespring Community Church.

Baker-Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
