Thieves take computer, cell phone

MOULTRIE — Two Moultrie residents reported they were victims of property theft Tuesday. Items they reported stolen were a cell phone and a computer.

The value of the stolen items was $1,550. Those who reported being the victims of the thefts were:

• Alisha Ware, of First Street Southeast, reported a thief stole her Compaq Presario computer Tuesday. The value of the stolen computer was $1,400.

• Amy Morgan reported a thief stole her Kyocera cell phone while her daughter had it at Colquitt County High School on Park Avenue Tuesday. The value of the stolen cell phone was estimated at $150.



Arrests

Moultrie PD

• Lavone V. Dempsey, 40, of 977 Annie McGee Road, was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

• Yuridia Luna, 18, of 154 Ortiz Lane, was charged with making an improper left turn and driving without a license.

• Peggy Ogletree Duckworth, 58, of 221 Willow Drive, was charged with two counts of child safety restraint violation and probation violation.

• Frank Russell Barton Jr., 29, of 814 1/2 First St. S.E., was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license, reckless driving and defective equipment.

• Mickey Yvonne Dassie, 27, of P.O. Box 162 in Poulan, was charged Wednesday with giving a false name to an officer and probation violation.

• Anthony Bernard Wingfield, 27, of 807 Sixth St. S.E., was charged Tuesday with simple battery (family violence), criminal trespassing and interfering with a 911 call.

• Nicholas A. Martin, 26, of Regency Village Drive, Lot 92, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct (family violence), public drunkenness and furnishing false information to police.

• Maria Guadalupe, 27, of Regency Village Drive, Lot 92, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct (family violence).

• Wilfredo Joel Pizarr, 26, of Regency Village Drive, Lot 92, was charged Tuesday with disorderly conduct (family violence), public drunkenness and furnishing false information to police.

• Stacey Adam Pridgen, 35, of 114 15th St. S.E., was charged Tuesday with two counts of forgery.

• Queen Naphateli Hayes, 44, of 3765 Del Park in Macon, was charged Wednesday with deposit account fraud.

• Stacy Lorenzo Debruce, 36, of 1920 Sardis Church Road, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license (second offense), a bench warrant and probation violation.

• Timothy Edward Fielder, 39, of 1718 Fifth Ave. S.E., was charged Monday with driving with a suspended license and failure to stop for a stop sign.

• A 15-year-old boy was charged Monday with possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.



Berlin PD

• Claudio Lopez Perez, 40, of Little Mexico, Lot 6, was charged Tuesday with failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.



Other Incidents

Moultrie PD

• Jamie Valentin, of 16th Street Southeast, reported Tuesday a female acquaintance forged several stolen checks.

• A teller at Ameris Bank on South Main Street reported a customer had a counterfeit $20 bill included in a deposit Tuesday.
