Nettie Holton Wilson Flournoy
MOULTRIE — Nettie Holton Wilson Flournoy, 93, of Moultrie died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Sunrise Nursing Home.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. John W. Greene Jr. officiating and the Rev. Charles Luke Jr. assisting. Burial will follow at Strong Memorial Garden. Shawn Hawkins, Hakim A. Shaheed, Uzoma Hawkins, Christopher Wilson, Alfonza Flournoy, Dante Wilson, Vincent Holton, David Stewart and Dexter Herring will serve as pallbearers.
Born April 11, 1911, in Buena Vista, Mrs. Flournoy was the daughter of the late Matt and Annie Williams Holton. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Eugene W. Wilson and John Ed Flournoy; and siblings.
Survivors include seven sons, Eugene Wilson and wife Gloria, Lester Wilson, Willie James Wilson Holton and wife Lorraine, Harry Wilson and wife Denise, Eddie Flournoy and wife Mattie, Johnny Flournoy and wife Willa and John Flournoy Jr.; four daughters, Leila Allen and husband Johnny, Eva Gary and husband William, Mary Flournoy, and Elois Holton and husband Loran; five other children whom she raised, Uzoma Hawkins, Alfonza Flournoy, Natasha Anderson, Linda Gary and Chris Wilson; one sister-in-law, Hattie Holton; 121 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Luke Strong and Son Mortuary Chapel.

Frankie Evans Dampier
MOULTRIE — Frankie Evans Dampier, 48, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, in Cook County.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Berlin Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Chuck English, Mike Carter, Wes Carter, Billy Kent, Don Tillman, Charles Hall and Tom Ostermeyer.
Born May 25, 1956, in Thomas County, Mr. Dampier was the son of Ralph and Betty Jean Dampier. He was a truck driver with J.H. Harvey and a member of Berlin Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lorrie Leigh Dampier.
Survivors include his wife, Tonda English Dampier of Moultrie; his parents, Ralph and Betty Jean Dampier of Berlin; one son, Daniel Evans Dampier of Athens; one daughter, Rachel Elana Dampier of Moultrie; a brother, Darrell Dampier and wife Gail of Berlin; a sister, Sherry Jean Dampier of Moultrie; and three brothers-in-law, Chuck English, Mike Carter and Wes Carter.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Harrell-Faircloth Funeral Home.

MOULTRIE — Janie Mae Wilson, 72, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Brenda McEver Washington
MOULTRIE — Brenda McEver Washington, 52, of Moultrie died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Rose of Sharon Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Mack Washington, Chris Morey, Corey Graham, Will Tomlinson, Danny Jordan and Jimmy Davis.
Born Feb. 3, 1952, in Colquitt County, Ms. Washington was the daughter of Louise Pitts McEver Hall and Grady Edward McEver. She was employed in voucher certification at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany and was a member of Rose of Sharon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Pitts McEver Hall of Doerun; her father, Grady Edward McEver of Moultrie; two daughters, Amy Washington Beverly and husband John W. and Amber Nicole Washington, all of Moultrie; three sisters, Nell Allen, Vicky Dixon and husband Bob and Terri Tomlinson and husband Roy, all of Moultrie; and three grandchildren, Amber Beverly, Julia Beverly and Adrianne Beverly.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 tonight at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Jeanelle Garnto Knowles
CAMILLA — Jeanelle Garnto Knowles, 70, of Camilla died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Mitchell Convalescent Center in Camilla.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Lewis and the Rev. Alan L. Herd Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville. Active pallbearers will be Chris Worsham, Justin Williams, Travis Peacock, Alan Herd, Jason Brown and Graylin Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will be John Herd and Jacob Herd.
Born Sept. 5, 1934, in Laurens County, Ms. Knowles was the daughter of the late Alva and Ruth Joiner Garnto. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Knowles.
Survivors include four daughters, Janice Brown and husband Mickey of Cairo, Beth White of Baconton, Tammie Williams and husband Kenny of Camilla and Lisa Herd and husband Alan of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; a son, John Knowles and wife Cathy of Camilla; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Alene Duncan of Baconton; and two brothers, Eugene Garnto of Poulan and Earl Garnto of Byron.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.

MOULTRIE — Katrina Watts Resendez, 29, of Moultrie, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Charlie Watts, Raymond Dorman, Larry Duckworth, Richie Riner, Andy Mitchell and Shannon McEntyre will serve as casketbearers.
Born Dec. 15, 1974, in Tift County, Mrs. Resendez was the daughter of Jerry Watts and the late Betty Faye Watts. She was a bookkeeper at Gaines Livestock and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Jaime Resendez and the mother of the late Juan Resendez.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Martinez.
Survivors include her father, Jerry Watts of Norman Park; three sons, Shannon Thomas Hancock, Javier Martinez and Jorge Martinez, all of Moultrie; a daughter, Monica Resendez of Moultrie; a brother, Charlie Watts of Albany; three sisters, Kimberly Pena and husband Pepe of Ellenton, Amanda Yeso and husband Goyo of Adel and Janice Riner of Albany; and a grandmother, Mildred McEntyre of Omega.

NORMAN PARK — Betty Faye Watts, 50, of Norman Park, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, in Moultrie.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Mike Hunnicut, Mark Mitchell, Ray McEntyre, Michael Mitchell, Jamie Black and Chet Mitchell will serve as casketbearers.
Born Oct. 19, 1954, in Worth County, Mrs. Watts was the daughter of Mildred McEntyre and the late Homer McEntyre. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was the mother of the late Katrina Resendez and mother-in-law of the late Jaime Resendez.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Watts of Norman Park; two daughters, Kimberly Pena and husband Pepe of Ellenton and Amanda Yeso and husband Goyo of Adel; three brothers, Ray McEntyre of Ashburn, Hollis McEntyre of Ocilla and Tommy McEntyre of Omega; two sisters, Shirley Reason of Tifton and Ann Bromalow of Eldorado; and 11 grandchildren.

MOULTRIE — Juan Carlos Resendez, 3, of Moultrie, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Griner officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. James Watts and Goyo Yeso will serve as casketbearers.
Born Aug. 9, 2001, in Lowndes County, he was the son of the late Katrina Watts Resendez and the late Jaime Resendez. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Martinez.
Survivors include three brothers, Shannon Thomas Hancock, Javier Martinez and Jorge Martinez, all of Moultrie; a sister, Monica Resendez of Moultrie; and his grandfather, Jerry Watts of Norman Park.
