Bertha Lynell White Henderson
NORMAN PARK — Bertha Lynell White Henderson, 69, of 356 Perry Batts Road, Norman Park, died Friday, March 11, 2005, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, at Cool Springs Freewill Baptist Church of Norman Park. The Rev. Ron Burger and the Rev. Rodney Nix will officiate. Burial will be at Cool Springs Cemetery in Norman Park. Casketbearers will be Clint Wright, Joel Hamm, Dale Wright, Tommy Conger, Heath White, John Manders and Brent Dougherty.
Mrs. Henderson was born Jan. 4, 1936, in Cook County to the late Early Watson White and Freda Nell Lewis White. She was a homemaker and a Freewill Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Ottis Edward Henderson; two sons, Ted Edward Henderson and wife Jane and Terry Wayne Henderson, all of Moultrie; one daughter, Patricia Diane Dupree and husband Sidney of Norman Park; one brother, E.W. White Jr. and wife Corlis of Moultrie; six sisters, Esther Hamm and husband Walter of Moultrie, Ann Conger of Tifton, Betty Manders and husband John of Norman Park, Shirley Kerper and husband Keith of Omega, Patsy Johnson of Moultrie and Merle Kitchens and husband Gerald of Moultrie; seven grandchildren, Cary Lynell Turner, Shane Edward Henderson, Ted Edward Henderson Jr., Christopher Wayne Henderson, Valerie Lynell Henderson, Michael Ray Henderson and Terry Wayne Henderson Jr.; and nine great-grandchildren, Autumn Henderson, Kerra Henderson, Isaiah Henderson, Colton Turner, Kaitlin Turner, Desman Layton, Christopher Layton, Brittney Jones and Chandra Marie Henderson.
Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Murwin White; a sister, Virginia Ruth Taylor; and two brothers-in-law, Johnny Taylor and Tommy Conger.
Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, March 13, at Baker Funeral Home.
