TIFTON — Want to leave a note of encouragement for a military family?

Work has been going on for months with the Operation FINALLY HOME house in Laurel Creek, and the public is invited to help out.

The home is being built for Army Sergeant Chad Turner, his wife Jennifer and their son.

The local community is invited to come out and write inspirational words of support and encouragement on the studs of the unfinished home, 11 a.m.— 2 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.—6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.

The Turner family received the news in December that they were approved for the home.
