Chamber to hold
115th Annual Meeting

MOULTRIE – The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to host the 115th Annual Chamber of Commerce Meeting and Community Awards Presentation.

“The Chamber Annual Meeting is a significant occasion to honor and celebrate the community’s outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the area, making it the best place to live and work,” said Jasmin Luna, program services director for the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce.

The event is Thursday, March 6, at a brand new location — the Maule Hangar. The doors will open at 6 p.m. for cocktails and silent auction, followed by dinner at 7 p.m.

The Chamber will present several community awards to commend individuals for their contributions. The community awards are comprised of Man of the Year, Woman of the Year and Agribusiness Person of the Year. Also, Colquitt County Rockstar, Committed to Colquitt County, Heart of Colquitt County, and Partners in Progress. The selection committee of former awards recipients will review the nominations submitted by the community and make the final selection.

This year’s ticket cost is $50 per ticket and only 300 tickets are available. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Monday, March 3.
