YMCA’s first Fall FONDO set for November 9

MOULTRIE – The Moultrie Family YMCA will play host to the Magnolia Fall FONDO on Saturday, Nov. 9.
It will be the first bike ride to be sponsored by the YMCA of the Georgia Sunbelt and the C4 Bike Club in Colquitt County.
The event will offer participants an opportunity to take advantage of one of three scenic routes – 38-mile, 65-mile or 105-mile – through Colquitt, Thomas and Brooks counties.
Five well-stocked rest stops will be available.
The ride is open to cyclists ages 18 and older. Helmets are required for all routes.
Early packet pickup will be Friday, Nov. 8, at the Moultrie Family YMCA.
Ride day registration will be held from 6-7 a.m. and the ride will start at 7:30 a.m. rain or shine.
The entry fee for any of the three routes is $85, which will help the YMCA provide scholarships for summer camp and after-school care for families in need.
The event will support the YMCA’s mission to put Christian principals into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body.
