Copeland-Lambert, Scroggins named YMCA Honor Gymnasts

MOULTRIE – The Moultrie YMCA gymnastics program held its 2020-2021 banquet recently and recognized Alayah Copeland-Lambert and Kayla Scroggins as its honor gymnasts.

Copeland-Lambert won the Natalie Bevacqua optional award.

Scroggins took home the Donald Blevins Xcel Gold team award.

The awards are especially significant because they are voted on by team members.

The most improved gymnasts for 2020-2021 are Ansley Lane, USA Xcel Bronze; Emma Thompson, USA Xcel Silver; Leah Shaw USA Xcel Gold; and Eva Kirbo, USA Level 6.

Moultrie YMCA gymnasts combined for 198 scores of 9.0 or better during season.
