SALE CITY, Ga. — Upper School students from Heritage Academy in Sale City recently competed in the Deep South Regional Convention held in Tifton. This is a four-day event designed to stimulate competition and camaraderie among local Christian schools.

Overall, the school placed fourth among 14 schools present. The group also placed fifth in the Small Ensemble singing competition.

Each student placed in multiple events on an individual basis, as follows:

Hunter Jordan: Bare Compound Bow (1st Place), Bible Bowl, Soccer Kick, Sketching, Social Studies Research, Monochromatic Scenic & Color Plants (photography), Acrylics (painting).

Joshua Cook: Bare Compound Bow, Sculpture, Color Plants, Color Scenic, Color Character Trait & Color Still Life (photography), Science Exhibit Theoretical, Checkers, Bible Bowl, Watercolor, Sketching.

Noah Norman: Colored Pencils (art), Color Plants & Color Character Trait (photography), Bible Bowl, Social Studies Research.

Austin Mullins: Science Exhibit Engineering, Bible Bowl, Watercolor, Sketching, Color Character Trait & Color Still Life (photography).

Joshua Peachey: 800 Meter Run (1st place), Running Long Jump, Social Studies Collection, Physical Fitness, Checkers, Bible Bowl, Colored Pencils (art), 100 Meter Dash, Color Scenic, Color Plants & Color Still Life (photography).
