Moultrie Federated Guild honored at state convention

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Moultrie Federated Guild members were recently recognized at the GFWC Georgia South West District Meeting and GFWC Georgia State Convention. Guild members have been successful over the past year and have been acknowledged at the district and state level. The South West district awards received this year for Community Service Programs are, front row, Elizabeth Herndon, District General Family of the Year (Elizabeth and Pete Herndon) and Angie Patteson, Education CSP Distinguished Service; and back row, Barbara McCord, Tallulah Falls School Elaine Singley Chandler Memorial Scholarship Award and “SoftServe Sweetness in TFS Cafeteria” Junior Conference Award; Virginia Hart, Home Life CSP Distinguished Service; Jackie Mise, International Outreach CSP Distinguished Service; Bobbie Key and Suzanne Mashburn, Public Issues CSP Distinguished Service. Mashburn was also recognized for GFWC Georgia Arts Contest: Photography 2nd Place in GFWC Georgia Volunteers in Action and Honorable Mention in GFWC Georgia Living Things. Not pictured are Nancy McGilvray, Arts CSP Distinguished Service, and Gidge Taylor, Conservation CSP Distinguished Service and 2nd Place Conservation CSP Distinguished Service GFWC State Award.
