SHS football to host fan fest on Saturday

LIVE OAK, Fla. — The Suwannee High School football team is turning Saturday’s practice into a community event.

Saturday is the first day Florida high school teams are allowed to be in full pads during the spring practice period.

The Bulldogs are inviting the community to watch them from 5-7 p.m.

In addition to the action on the field, there will be a bounce house, face painting, snow cones, hot drinks, drinks and music.

The family-friendly event will be held at the SHS practice field.

Suwannee will close out its spring drills with a May 18 scrimmage against Florida High at Langford Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
