VALDOSTA — Susannah Harvell of Pavo, Georgia, has earned the Clinical Excellence Award from the School of Health Sciences’s Athletic Training Program at Valdosta State University.

Harvell was one of 20 nursing, exercise physiology, and athletic training students recognized for outstanding achievement during the 2016-2017 academic year by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Scholarship awards

VALDOSTA — The College of Arts and Sciences at Valdosta State University recently recognized 67 pure and applied sciences, humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary programs students for outstanding achievement during the 2016-2017 academic year.

Chase Perry of Moultrie earned the Andy Koppy Scholarship from the Department of Computer Science.

Magnolia Mendoza of Moultrie earned the Martha H. Barnes Scholarship from the Department of Biology.
