Downtown meeting

The Downtown Development Authority will hold its regular meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Southwest Georgia Wealth Strategies Building (2nd floor conference room), 25 Second Ave. S.W.

Called meeting

The City of Norman Park will hold a called city council meeting at noon Thursday, Feb. 20,  at Norman Park City Hall to adopt the Flood Damage Prevention Resolution.

Black history program

Holy Temple Church of God in Christ will have its annual Evelyn Smith Black History Program at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The church is located at 602 Third St. N.W., and the pastor is Supt. Paul E. Hayes II.

Guest Day

Sinner Friend Baptist Church in Hartsfield will hold its annual Guest Day Sunday, Feb. 23. Sunday school will begin at 9 a.m. with the service at 10. The Rev. W.B. Sales is pastor.

Gospel sing

Wright’s Chapel Church will hold a gospel sing at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 29. All who care to sing may participate, but no groups, please. For more information, please call (229) 776-5194 or (229) 686-3752.

Forage survey

Extension forage specialists and agents across the Southeast region (a 13-state area) would like your help in gathering information on hay harvest methods and time required for harvesting hay. The purpose of this survey is to help develop more effective forage educational programs across the region.
