ATLANTA – The deadline to apply for a disaster loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration has been extended to February 7.

Eligible homeowners, renters, businesses and non-profits may apply for a low-interest rate physical property disaster loan if they were affected by Hurricane Helene during September 24 through October 30, 2024.

The loan is to repair or replace property that was damaged or destroyed by the storm including furniture, clothing and automobiles. There is no application fee.
