VALDOSTA – Valdosta High School homecoming will be held Friday, Oct. 26. 

Valdosta City Schools will have early dismissal Friday to allow for participation and/or celebration in the homecoming parade that starts at 3:30 p.m., school officials said. 

However, school officials urge people to remember lineup begins at 2:30 p.m. for people participating in the parade. 

Dismissal schedule:

Valdosta High School: 12:30 p.m. Friday.

VECA: 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Horne Learning Center: 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Elementary Schools: 1 p.m. Friday.

Middle Schools: 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Each school’s principal will notify parents about early dismissal procedures, school officials said.
