Army PFC Peterson graduates from basic training
VALDOSTA — Army Private 1st Class Richard Kyle Peterson graduated from basic military training at Fort Jackson, S.C.
Peterson is the son of Richard and Sadie Peterson of Lake Park and Debi Bass Peterson of Valdosta. He is the grandson of George and Ann Peterson of Lake Park and Jerry and Patti Bass of Statenville.
He is a 2013 graduate of Lowndes High School and a 2016 graduate of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.
