Rants and Raves

Unwatched?:“You wish the press would stop picking on the President? Do you not understand what a free and independent press is? Their job is scrutinize and report the actions of our leaders and inform people on what is going on. That is their function, not to just close their eyes and let Trump go unwatched.

Loud music

“We are not getting any help with the loud music coming from cars and loud motorcycles keeping us awake. Please Sheriff and State Patrol help us. Locals won’t and I know there is a law against this. Thank you.

Near tragedy

“One of those ‘crotch rockets’ came flying out a driveway right in front of me. Had I not been watching carefully at the time and if my reflexes had been slower, then there would have been a tragedy.

Applause

“Add my applause to those who sponsored the ‘Night Out’ event. We need more of these types of community gatherings.

Lies, more lies

“So the president is constantly being caught in lies and making ridiculous statements. His approval rating is bottoming out. And you blame the press for reporting it?

Those freedoms

“A lot of these narrow-minded Christians apparently would like for the government to impose their religious beliefs on the whole country. Personally, I don’t want the government to even be involved in the religious business let alone shoving some particular brand of religion down our throats. Fortunately, the framers of the Constitution gave us freedom of and from religion.

Apathetic

“The public doesn’t attend government meetings because they have become apathetic and complacent. Civics, per se, is no longer taught in schools. Citizens don’t know the difference between a state senator and a U.S. Senator nor city council from county commission. The public in general simply doesn’t embrace the concept of ‘we the people.’

He’s a novelty

“Trump got into office mostly as a novelty. Well, the novelty is wearing off. Let’s just hope that the public learned a lesson about ‘novelties’ and how to detect them from the getgo.

Even Trump himself said the job was a lot different than he thought. Oh really? And now it’s lie after lie. He is pathological!
