Rants and Raves

The fog

“So the ranter mentioned that many motorists don’t know they should dim their lights when approaching another vehicle. Well let me add to that list of inadequacies on the the highway. This morning I’m driving to work in the fog and met two cars with no lights on! One vehicle was gray or silver and blended right into the fog. A tragedy waiting to happen! Now my thoughts were, what are the chances these same people were texting?!

Could not see

“Thanks for the comment about people not dimming their lights. I almost had to stop the other night when I was meeting one of these thoughtless drivers. I was so blinded I could not see the edge of the pavement!

Distracting

“I once thought these blue looking headlights were illegal. But apparently they are not. They certainly are distracting and blinding.

Honest man

“I received a call from a young man saying that he had found something of mine. Upon returning his phone call, I discovered that he had found my wallet at a local gas station. Was I lucky? Yes, lucky that an honest person returned my wallet. R.B. Wright School has an excellent role model in Mr. Ty Sutz !

Test scores

“I see the mighty have fallen! What excuse will R.B. Wright use this year for falling 10 points for the second year in a row on state evaluation? Looks like we are catching up with you. We are only 5 points away. Ready or not, here we come! Way to go Cox! Lets keep it up!

Slow pokes

“Well if the slow pokes would move out of the fast lane we drivers wouldn’t have to go in and out of traffic. There is a law if you are under 55 get in the slow lane. Some of us do have a job and need to get to work on time.

How sad!

“This morning I heard a discussion of the mass shooting in the Texas church. No one seemed aghast! It was just casual conversation. It appears we are becoming accustomed to this kind of domestic terror … as if we were hearing about it in some third world country. How sad!

Tax issues

“One tax plus one tax equals two tax. Pretty smart, huh. My pocket doesn’t know when it’s empty but I do, smart again. You always threaten to raise property tax. Liberals, smart again. Get your hand out of my pocket and live by your budget. Hard to budget easy to tax.
