Hope House names scholarship winner

MOULTRIE, Ga. — Mary Grace McCoy is the recipient of the 2018-2019 Stand For Life Scholarship from Hope House Pregnancy Center.

McCoy is a senior at Colquitt County High School, the daughter of Robert and Mendy McCoy. She attends Autreyville Baptist Church where she teaches Children’s Church, sings in the choir, participates in youth group, and serves as a fill-in Sunday school teacher.

McCoy will lead a book study, “Stand For Life A Guide For Making The Case and Saving Lives,” by John Ensor and Scott Klusendorf, at Hope House with her peers.

“This book is a comprehensive guide to the critical issues that are at the heart of the pro-life movement,” according to a Hope House press release. “It will help them stand up for the sacredness of human life and reach out with compassion and grace to those who are on the difficult road of unplanned pregnancy.”
