Friendship MBC to celebrate annual Women’s Day event
MOULTRIE, Ga. — Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Women’s Day on Sunday, March 8.
The theme of the celebration is “Searching, Knowing and Living Your Purpose.” The celebration will consist of an 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. service. The speakers are three dynamic women from Colquitt County.
Minister Belinda Chambers Everett is the wife to Stephon, mother of three, GiGi of four, speaker, writer, worshiper, Bible study teacher, and youth minister. She loves history, real estate, and learning God’s Word.
Everett has a bachelor’s degree in theology as well as early childhood education. She is the youth minister at New Jerusalem Church and CEO of The Talk on Tuesday. She is a woman focused on teaching the Gospel effectively and powerfully, according to a press release from Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She speaks at retreats, conferences, leadership forums, and online events.
Pastor Carla Collier is the devoted wife to Malcolm Collier, loving mother and grandmother. She attends The Gathering Worship Center where she and her husband are the founders and co-pastors. She is dedicated to spreading the word of God and helping members of the community find their way, according to Friendship MBC. She lives in Moultrie, Georgia, where she is a very visible positive leader and helper.
Minister Rosetta Hightower Drew was born to the late James and Lois T. Hightower Sr. She is the loving wife of Ernest Drew and they are both natives of Colquitt County. She works with the Colquitt County Board of Education where she has been employed for 17 years as a bus driver. She is a mother and grandmother and a dear friend to all while serving as the daughter of the house at Okapilco Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Willie Love Jr., who serves as pastor.
