Wilcox reportedly out for season with torn ACL
Wilcox was hurt on the first day of Atlanta Falcons training camp at Flowery Branch.
Wilcox signed a one-year deal with the Falcons in April. The Dallas Cowboys selected him in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Georgia Southern University, where he played slotback for the first three years and defensive back as a senior.
“It’s good to come back home,” Wilcox told reporters before the start of training camp. “it’s fun to get back on my turf and on my side of the world. It’s exciting. It’s a new journey for me. They welcomed me with big arms and I’m just enjoying it.”
Wilcox played with Dallas from 2013-16 and played with Pittsburgh in 2017. He played with the Indianapolis Colts and New York Jets in 2018.
Wilcox has played in 77 games, making 39 starts. He has 219 tackles and six interceptions in seven seasons.
