Arrests
Sheriff’s Office
• Brad Elliot Singletary, 43, of Ray City, Ga., was charged July 21 with failure to appear.
• Latrica Weldon, 24, 410 Seventh St. N.W., was charged July 19 with child restraint violation and driving while license withdrawn.
• Ashley Brooke Law, 32, 208-A Sherrod Road, Coolidge, was charged July 19 with failure to appear.
• Michael Paul Strickland, 44, 2222 Grizzly Bear Road, was charged July 18 with probation violation and two counts of failure to appear.
• Matarious Mackeroy, 29, of Blakely, Ga., was charged July 22 with driving while license withdrawn.
• Connie Sue McMurphy, 60, 4475 Ellenton-Omega Road, Omega, was charged July 22 with disorderly conduct and contempt of court. A sheriff’s office report said McMurphy spoke with Magistrate Judge J.J. McMillan at his office in the Colquitt County Courthouse Annex. The report didn’t say what issue she was seeking his help with, but it said she didn’t like his response. She began arguing and started raising her voice, the report said, and the judge asked her to leave. She refused. A deputy tried to escort her out, and she again refused, the report said, so the judge ordered her taken into custody.
• Michael Joseph Tyler, 1300 block Ellenton-Omega Road, Norman Park, reported July 21 that someone damaged a Hampton Bay LED offset patio umbrella valued at $700 and an Aquabot robotic pool cleaner valued at $800. Christopher Troy Tyler, 37, 1333 Ellenton-Omega Road, Norman Park, was charged with criminal damage to property in the second degree.
• Raiford Scott Lane, 33, 925 John Buck McCoy Road, was charged July 20 with criminal trespass.
• Anival Leonel Bamaca Diaz, 29, 115 Oak St., was charged July 19 with simple battery (family violence), battery and three counts of cruelty to children. He was charged in connection with a domestic dispute with Edgar and Maria Perez at the residence they share.
• Brittany Nicole Duke, 26, 711 Rancho Taylor, Doerun, was charged July 19 with cruelty to children in the first degree.
Moultrie Police
• Alan Morton, 66, 2658 Sumner Road, was charged July 20 with DUI, improper right turn and failure to drive in a single lane.
• Leo Lorenzo Maldonado, 26, 847 Jonah Tillman Road, was charged July 20 with DUI and failure to obey a traffic control device.
• Willie Omar Butts, 28, 3107 Tallokas Road, was charged July 21 with DUI, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without a license and open container in a vehicle.
• Jeffery David Winders, 43, 408 Fifth Ave. S.E., was charged July 18 with theft by shoplifting. He was charged the following day with criminal trespass.
• Chrystian Estrada-Saucedo, 21, 118 31st Ave. N.E., was charged July 20 with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, brake lights/turn signals required and driving while license withdrawn.
• Carlton Anderson, 63, 1622 Second Ave. N.W., was charged July 20 with driving without a license, DUI and failure to stop at a stop sign.
• Pedro Morales, 30, 386 Highway 111, Lot 5, was charged July 20 with DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, improper backing and driving without a license. Morales was charged July 21 with public drunk and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
• Sophia Miranda Payne, 37, 2029 Ohara Ave., was charged July 18 with two counts of forgery in the fourth degree.
• Jason Dewayne Barrett, 32, 1158 Sumner Road, was charged July 22 with harassing communications and three counts of failure to appear.
Doerun Police
• Alexandria Olivia Bradwell, 30, of Albany, was charged July 21 with driving while license withdrawn.
• Amy Diane Johnson, 39, 180 Trailor Road, was charged July 4 with burglary in the second degree, loitering and criminal trespass.
• Courtney Lannett Jones, 25, 404 Seventh Ave. S.W., was charged July 22 with expired or no driver’s license.
Georgia State Patrol
• Samuel Ellis Smith, 23, 663 Whitfield Road, was charged with driving while license suspended or revoked and a seatbelt violation.
• Kenny Lawton Jr., 39, 419 First Ave. N.W., was charged July 21 with driving while license withdrawn, failure to drive in a single lane and DUI.
• Keyonna Rockell Johnson, 30, 135 Walker Drive, Norman Park, was charged July 21 with driving while license withdrawn.

Violence
Sheriff’s Office
• A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested then turned over to her parents after she allegedly struck a relative July 21 on East Bethel Avenue.
• Jimmie Lavene Crosby, 100 block Anderson Drive, told deputies about 9 p.m. July 21 that he was leaving a residence on Sardis Church Road when the man who lives there punched him in the back. Crosby fell and the man started punching him in the face. After he stopped, the man’s brother gave Crosby a ride home, where Crosby called 911.
The officer said Crosby had lacerations to the left and right eyebrows and a small cut to his right forearm. He was transported to Colquitt Regional Medical Center for examination.
Crosby said he didn’t want to prosecute.
Property damage
Sheriff’s Office
• Elois Matthews, 600 block Hopewell Church Road, reported someone shattered the back window of her 2003 Honda Odyssey July 18-19.
• Sophia Yo, 300 block Myron Hart Road, Coolidge, reported someone threw two rocks at her house between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. July 22. The rocks damaged a double-pane window and the siding on the house, with repairs estimated at $1,200.
